2026 Gonzales Junior Police Program
The Gonzales Police Department is now accepting applications for the 2026 Junior Police Program.
This fun and educational summer program gives children the opportunity to learn about safety, teamwork, leadership, and the work of law enforcement in a positive and engaging environment.

Who Can Attend:
Children ages 7 to 13
Program Dates:
Wednesdays: June 3, 10, 17, 24, July 1, 8, and 15, 2026
Time:
9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Gonzales Police Department

Special Note:
The June 10 session will be held at the Gun Range and will begin promptly at 9:00 AM.
Important Information
- Parents/guardians must pick up children by 12:00 PM
- Children may bring a snack for break time
- Weekly reminder emails will be sent to parents/guardians
- Participation in all scheduled activities is encouraged
- Space is limited and some age groups may fill quickly
